Heathrow Airport – Terminal 2A
With a target cost of approximately £1.00bn, Terminal 2 Concourse A (T2A) is the first phase of construction for Star Alliance airlines’ new home at London Heathrow Airport.
When complete, Terminal 2 will provide capacity at Heathrow for an estimated 20 million passengers every year with a spacious and modern airport facility. The Phase 1 terminal building will comprise ten pier-served stands, of which three will have the ability to service A380 and the next generation of passenger aircraft.
As the Managed Service Provider (MSP), EC Harris’ role is to validate and provide assurance to BAA that their contracted suppliers are providing value for money.
During the construction phase of T2A, our responsibility is to supply the baseline planning and schedule integration management function as well as critical analysis of supplier schedules for EC Harris to their client, BAA.
