Heathrow Airport – Eastern Campus Aprons

Bid for the construction of 8 no. pier served stands, 3 no. remote stands, Kilo and Lima taxiways and various ancillary facilities that will serve the wider Eastern Campus. The project will safeguard the long term airfield capability of 90mppa.

The tender also included an option to install heating as a trial to 2 no. Stands to control the impact of heavy snow on the airport.

Vinci’s client (BAA) had very specific schedule & project controls requirements. We were engaged to produce a fully compliant resourced schedule, costed to level 7 with Labour Plant & Materials to maximise the technical score for the submission.

A schedule maturity model and Quantitive Schedule Risk Analysis [QSRA] were carried out on the schedule prior to submission to ensure it met the clients requirements.
