LEAN Principles
Lean Construction is a management based approach to delivery projects or products more efficiently, eliminating defects and reducing waste to a minimum.
Lean can be summarised into five principles; Specify value, Identify the value stream, Make the value flow, Let the customer pull value and Pursue perfection. By clearly understanding these principles the amount of human effort, time, space, tools and stock needed to design and provide a given product or service can typically be cut in half very quickly, and if progress is maintained, cut in half again within a few years.
