Construction Simulation

We routinely use construction simulation as part of our ongoing commitment to finding a better way of doing things. Using specialist tools, our team can take 2D or 3D models and combine them with programme data to produce 4D visualisations and simulations. These simulations can optimize your project through improved planning, sequencing, execution and monitoring of construction activities.

We have found that stakeholders understand construction schedules more quickly and completely with 4D visualisations than with traditional construction management tools. This is because traditional construction planning tools, such as bar charts and network diagrams, do not represent and communicate the spatial and temporal (or four-dimensional), aspects of construction schedules effectively. As a consequence, they do not allow project managers to create schedule alternatives rapidly to find the best way to build a particular design.

Construction Simulation allows people to visualise the status of a construction project at any point in the programme, communicate project details to layman and technical levels to all stakeholders, improve certainty and provide a visual project ‘walkthrough’ on screen.
