Scott Wilson commission PDL for Qatar bid
PDL were commissioned by Scott Wilson to provide schedule management services for two bids to establish and operate a Programme Management Office (PMO) for the Public Works Authority in Qatar. Both were five year terms commencing August 2011.
The Buildings Programme consisted of 68 buildings with a construction value of £1.5bn and involved the new build of 51 Schools, 7 Hospitals, 5 Ports & 5 Recreation projects. The second bid covered the reconstruction of Highways & Drainage (excluding expressways) with a construction value of £6.5bn.
The bid consortium consisted of Capita Symonds, Qatar Project Management (QPM), Rider Levett & Bucknall & URS Scott Wilson.
